Arrived around 9:45 PM on a Saturday night, and to my surprise, the restaurant was completely empty. This was unexpected for a Saturday evening, but it didn't take away from the overall experience. Food 5/5 The food was outstanding. I had the Shrimp Alfredo with an addition of lamb lollipops, and both dishes exceeded expectations. The Alfredo sauce was made fresh to order and perfectly seasoned. The shrimp were cooked just right, and the lamb chops were delicious, but the Alfredo pasta really stole the spotlight. The portion size was generous, providing plenty of leftovers to take home. There's also a bar that appears to serve cocktails, though I didn't ask about the bar services. Hookah might even be an option, though I didn't inquire further. Ambiance 5/5 The ambiance was great--really laid-back with an upbeat vibe. The music selection was on point; whoever had the aux was definitely keeping the hits rolling. I chose to sit at the bar to watch the chef prepare my meal and observe other diners picking up their to-go orders. My only minor complaint was that the bar area could've been wiped down before seating, as it was a little sticky with crumbs. Service 4/5 The service was decent. I was hoping for a friendlier greeting as the only customer when I first walked in, but the staff warmed up quickly. By the end of my meal, Chef Jay and Twan had become my new friends. They both helped turn the experience around and made me feel welcome, which certainly added to the overall enjoyment. Overall 5/5 I'd definitely recommend this place. Despite being a bit quieter on a Saturday night, the food is top-notch, and I'm curious why it isn't busier. I've heard their brunch is bomb, so I'm planning to return soon to try it out. Great potential for a solid dining spot!

Good vibes here, I came early on a Saturday and got some good hot breakfast. I like the music they play here. It's a good brunch spot I imagine. Not big on the inside but big enough if you arrive early. The seafood salad slaps and I highly recommend trying it!

Love the 90s music walking in. It has a classic Cafe look with their soul food twist. The menu is very simple, it took me just a few seconds to know that I wanted the fish and grits from the reviews on yelp and Google. This is a sit where you want establishment so we sat on the back end so we can see everything. They already had a pot of grits going and was whisking some eggs! I did visit the bathroom and tripped on the rug on the way in and out and noticed both rugs were rugged. The bathroom was pretty clean and there was a lady actively cleaning the bar area. We sat for 10 minutes and had to ask for drinks since we weren't offered any. Other than the cook constantly on her phone arguing with someone the food was amazing. The $20 portion was enough for 2. We got 3 pieces of fish with grits and both were seasoned perfectly. I would only get take out if I come back.

I recently enjoyed Sunday brunch at 32nd St Cafe. The portion sizes and prices are very good. I went early so it was just two of us at first and then we sat so long talking and chewing slowly that more people can in. The bar area opened and the music was turned on. Some nice oldies played at a reasonable sound level that allowed conversation to continue. What I didn't care for was the floors and tables needing a good clean. At 11:37AM I would expect I paper/tissues being on the floor and the tables being cleaned up as soon as the previous patron(s) have finished their meals. There is parking in the neighborhood on 32nd street, Ridge Avenue, a side street and even in the park if you are up for a longer leisurely walk. Otherwise I enjoyed my visit and would return.

The food is good and plenty. Well seasoned fish and grits were delicious, although I like my grits cooked to a creamy consistency the seasoning made up for the lack of creaminess. As I sat I watched the chef prepare orders to go, I regretted not getting the thick golden brown pancakes. I'll try them next time. Service was attentive and excellent. Everyone was friendly and the music had me dancing in my seat. I'll be back!!!

Sitting diagonal to SEPTA's 33rd and dauphin loop is the beautiful 32nd Street Café. The newly opened restaurant that is warm, inviting and an incredible edition to the neighborhood. They have a wonderful assortment of breakfast and lunch choices that are sure to satisfy your hunger. 33rd Street loop has seen a lot of people pass through these doors over the years going back to when this was a trolley turnaround. The neighborhoods changed a bit and the architecture has changed but it seems that food is getting better and better. When a wonderful restaurant like this enters your neighborhood you owe it to yourself to give them a try. The people who prepare these meals are given skills by God to combining ingredients and spices and in such a way that demonstrates their inspiration from God. When you appreciate a finally crafted meal you understand how God talks to a talented chef in a wonderfully designed restaurant. Come on out and grab something to eat enjoy the view of the buses passing around look over at the trees of the park while knowing that you are having a wonderful dining experience. One day this pandemic will be over and we should reward the fine men and women that are opening establishments to serve the public during very difficult times. We are grateful that they are there for us. Easily acceptable from SEPTA's bus routes 7,32,39,49,54 & 61. Come on by and have something to eat. If you're bicycling in Fairmount Park there is ample places to secure your vehicle and wonderful meals with friends to meet. Enjoy!
